Scholar-in-Residence Program
One of the major academic components of the Catholic Leadership Academy is its Scholar -in-Residence Program. The scope of the program includes, but is not limited to, classroom presentations and workshops dealing with topics specific to career and vocation.
The Academy is pleased and honored to have as its first-ever Scholar-in-Residence, The Reverend Bruce Williams, O.P. Fr. Williams was ordained in the Order of Preachers (Dominicans) on June 8, 1967. He has earned two doctorates: one in Philosophy (medieval philosophy) from St. Stephen College in Dover, Massachusetts and one in sacred Theology (moral theology) from St. Thomas University (the Angelicum) in Rome, Italy. Fr. Williams currently serves as a Professor 'Incaricatus' at St. Thomas University in Rome, where he first joined the faculty in 1984.
During his tenure at the Catholic Leadership Academy, Fr Williams delivered a four part series of lectures dealing with moral leadership as it relates to particular callings as well as to the common calling of all humanity.
